Got skill to pay the bill?
From all the topics on this website, this is the most important. If you reading this right now for sure you wanna be in, and Mr.Moir wants you in the shop, he just doesn't know yet. Becuase of this you have to show him your skill.
What type of skill? In this rotations, Moir is looking for specific people with these following skills.
Flexibility:
This is the ability to adapt willingly to changing circumstances. Something like working a delicate melting chocolate, next to the guy that is chopping onions. Or 5 minutes before the guests coming, the uniform of the host gets soup all over it, and you have to replace this person.
Leadership:
This last one is really simple but at the same time complex. Becuase lot of people know what it means but a few imagine what it is like. Image this, in chemistry, we got elements, and compounds or mixes. Compounds are a mix of elements. Leadership, wouldn't be an element, it would a mix or compound of the following, prioritizing, Honesty, Responsibility, Reliable, Teamwork, and Work ethic. This six words might not mean much to you at this moment. But if you want a successful life, you this words will be the base of your Empire.
Any of the words mentioned here might not be the strongest skill, but don't stress. Becuase here you'll learn them like you had them all your life.
Commitment:
Just not here in Culinary, but in any working area, people are looking for people with this ability. I'm trying to say that any kind of superior is looking for people who can work for any amount of time without complaining. People that no matter the job they will finish it. People who stay in the shop even after the period has ended. Those are the people who are on Moir's mind the whole time.
Listening:
JUST REMEMBER if it comes from Moir, or Alex's mouth, you better listen.
Not just here, but in any environment that can possibly affect your future.
